Covid-19 Protocols
COVID-19 Update
4th December 2020
It is with great disappointment that under the new level of restrictions announced on 2nd December, our venue will be unable to stage events, therefore all events up to the end of December have been postponed and will be rescheduled in the New Year – all ticket holders have been contacted directly. We would like to apologise for this inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you all back to the Theatre in the not too distant future. If you have any queries please get in touch with a Theatre team member on 094 93 10999.
19th October 2020
Following the Government’s announcement on Monday, 19th October to move the country into Level 5 restrictions, our venue will remain closed until Monday, 30th November. All our events are postponed and will be rescheduled for dates after November 30th. We would like to thank you for your patience and support at this time and we sincerely apologise for this inconvenience. If you wish to contact the Theatre you can do so by leaving a voicemail on 094 93 10999. Stay safe.
We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Claremorris Town Hall Theatre. Your safety is paramount to us, therefore we have implemented the following measures:
Face Coverings
Face Coverings must be worn; once seated you may remove your covering. When leaving your seating area you must again wear your face covering. All Theatre staff will be wearing a face covering.
Temperature Check
Upon arrival we will check your temperature with a non-contact infrared forehead thermometer. If your reading is 38 Degrees Celsius or higher you will be asked not to attend the event. In this circumstance you will be offered a Credit Note. If you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 we ask that you do not attend an event at our venue.
Contact Tracing
We will discreetly take your name and contact number for the purpose of contact tracing.
Hand Sanitiser
We ask that you sanitise your hands when you enter our venue. There is a hand sanitising station located in the foyer and more located in the main auditorium.
Seating Layout
We have implemented a physical distancing seating layout
Capacity
The event capacity will be in line with the Government guidelines at the time of the event. Please note that if capacity guidelines are greatly reduced, it will not be feasible for us to put on a show and we may have to reschedule, your ticket will be valid for the rescheduled date.
Table Service
Keeping in line with Government guidelines, we will be offering table service. We will only be selling items that are permitted by the Government on the date of the event.
Ticket Sales
We will be operating Advance Ticket Sales Only from the Box Office. We will only be accepting cash sales. In the event of having to cancel a performance due to another lock-down or limited capacity for indoor gatherings, it will be much easier for us to refund cash. It also means that you will receive your refund quicker. When purchasing tickets from the Box Office we will need to know who the tickets are for i.e are the tickets for members of your household. This will help us adhere to Government guidelines on how many people from households can mix together.
Finally, when attending an event at our venue, we ask that you adhere to all the above measures. Sanitise your hands, practice good hygiene etiquette and keep your distance.
Together we will keep the show on the road. Thank you.
