Fun Camp: Screenagers

SCREENAGERS is a week long screen acting camp for teenagers aged between 12-17. It runs from 16th – 20th of July, Monday to Friday in Claremorris Town Hall Theatre. Screenagers will engage in a variety of screen work, including acting, directing, script writing, improvising and devising.

The ‘Screenagers’ Summer Camp is run by actress Sheila Moylette. Sheila holds a BA (hons) in Performing Arts and an MA (hons) in Drama and Theatre Studies. She is also a graduate of Bow Street’s acclaimed Screen Acting Programme, Ireland’s only full-time training resource dedicated specifically to acting for camera. She will be next appearing in Lance Daly’s feature film ‘Black 47’, starring Hugo Weaving, Jim Broadbent and Moe Dunford. Recent screen work includes ‘Lorraine’ in the new RTE comedy-drama series ‘Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope’ alongside Amy Huberman, and Jim Sheridan’s feature film ‘The Secret Scripture’. Previous film and TV work includes ‘How To Be Happy’ (Filmbase), ‘Ripper Street’ (BBC) and ‘Hardy Bucks’ (RTE).
