National Library of Ireland Exhibition

Since the National Library of Ireland began sharing their photographic collections on Flickr in 2011, the NLI’s online volunteer Flickr community has grown to number 36,900 followers worldwide and has amassed over 122.6 million views. Not only do the NLI’s followers view the daily posted photos, they also then uncover information which is sometimes personal, often moving and always surprising. The exhibition celebrates the ingenuity, generosity and humor of the volunteers and the remarkable stories revealed by their research.

The Exhibition runs in the Theatre from Wednesday July 1st to Wednesday August 26th, and is open weekdays from 9.30am to 5.00pm – excluding 1pm to 2pm when the venue is closed for lunch. 

Please note the exhibition will be closed on Tuesday, July 7th & Monday, August 3rd.
