Claremorris Musical Society – ‘Young Frankenstein’

Award winning Claremorris Musical Society returns to the stage for 5 exhilarating performances from January 31^st to February 4^th at 8pm nightly.  The group will proudly present its 17th production, the west of Ireland’s premier performance – Young Frankenstein The Musical.

This hilarious take on the classic horror story, combines zany antics, a witty script, fabulous musical numbers and high-energy comedy performances for one unforgettable, adventure in Transylvania!  Young Frankenstein The Musical follows the story of brilliant brain surgeon Frederick Frankenstein, the grandson of the infamous Dr. Victor Frankenstein. When Frederick inherits his grandfather’s castle in Transylvania, he becomes drawn into the world of mad science and reanimation. With the help of a quirky cast of characters, including Igor, Inga, and Frau Blücher, Frederick attempts to bring a creature to life and navigate the challenges that ensue.  After discovering the secret entrance to his grandfather’s laboratory, Frederick decides to carry on the family experiments and creates a monster of his own.
